The busy walkway between Anson Street and Newtown Working Men’s Club has now been cleaned up after we reported fly-tipping and overgrown vegetation to the Council. Nearby fly-tipping has also been removed.
Thank you to Environmental Enforcement and Streetscene for working together to improve our outdoor spaces.
Please don’t be tempted to fly-tip: the Council operates a FREE Bulky Waste Collection Scheme which can be used twice per year for up to 5 items each time. To find out more and book a collection, please visit: wigan.gov.uk/BulkyCollections
