Improvements Around Norfolk Street in Newtown

Following more than a year of campaigning, I am pleased to see that the new litter bin has been installed at the junction of Norfolk Street/ Victoria Street.

In addition, the OneStop corner shop has agreed to carry out regular litter-picks and install their own bin outside the premises. All of this should help to tackle litter problems in the area.

I am also pleased to say that the double yellow lines and road markings have recently been repainted on this stretch of the road, which should go some way in improving road safety and reducing inconsiderate parking.
