Issues Caused By Off-road Bike Activity: Reported It, Fixed It!

In recent weeks, there has been evidence of off-road bike activity on the grassed area at Greenwood Avenue/ Buchanan Road in Worsley Hall.

After leaving the ground torn up and pavements covered in mess, the Streetscene Team have now cleaned up the area.

At my request, Section 59 signage has been approved and is awaiting installation. This will give the police the power to seize vehicles being driven in an anti-social manner in the area.

We will continue to work with GMP and our Neighbourhood Teams to tackle anti-social behaviour across Douglas Ward.
