Supporting Greater Manchester's Month of Hope
Today marks the beginning of the Month of Hope, a time we will encourage everyone to have open and honest conversations about mental wellbeing.
The Month of Hope bridges World Suicide Prevention Day on 10 September and World Mental Health Awareness Day on 10 October.
Wigan Council is encouraging residents to begin the month by taking the free Learn to Save a Life training which can be found on the Shining a Light On Suicide website.
From signposting support available across the borough to detailing stories of hope, we want everyone to have access to the help they need. Keep up to date with the latest activity by following Wigan Council’s page throughout the month.
